Shipping & returns
Who ships your work
The artist does. Under our agreements, each artist is responsible for properly crating and shipping their own work, and for sending the packing list and manifest to both you and the gallery. Parseen Gallery does not arrange shipping.
What you pay
Shipping is charged to you at the time of sale. A 3.25% payment processing fee applies to the full transaction amount, including tax and shipping. Both appear as separate lines at checkout before you pay.
When the work becomes yours
Title and risk of loss pass to you when the artist ships. That is the standard term in our artist agreements and we would rather you knew it before you bought than after.
If something arrives damaged
Tell us within 48 hours and send photographs of the crate and the work. If a piece arrives damaged, does not arrive, or does not match its description, we treat it as returnable at full value including shipping both directions. You are not out of pocket while we sort it out with the artist and the carrier.
Changing your mind
Original artwork is not returnable simply because you changed your mind. If you are uncertain, ask us for more photographs, a scale reference, or a video before you buy. We would rather answer six questions than process a dispute.
