Parseen Gallery represents four artists and takes responsibility for their work.

That responsibility has three parts. We can tell you who made a work, when, and where. We can tell you what it costs and why. And we stay accountable for it until it is on your wall.

Every piece on this site lists its medium, its dimensions, its year and its price. We do not use “price on request” as a negotiating tactic. If a price is hidden it is because the artist asked us to hide it, and we will tell you that.

When you buy online, the artist crates and ships the work directly to you and sends you the packing list and manifest. Title and risk of loss pass to you at the moment the artist ships. We tell you this up front because you should know who is holding your painting at every stage.

We also curate and install art for buildings: hotels, corporate offices, medical practices and multifamily developments. Parham Shariat spent eleven years in institutional real estate in Dubai and runs a tile and stone contractor in Southern California. That is why we can carry our own insurance, pass a general contractor’s prequalification, and hit a construction schedule. Art consultants coordinate installers. We are the installer.

We are not the largest gallery and we are not the oldest. What we offer is narrower and more useful than scale. You will always know what you are buying, what it is worth, and who is accountable for it.
