Ramtin Zad

B. 1974 - Iran

She started painting in her childhood and was a student of Morteza Katouzian for over ten years. She has always painted in realism style and had many solo and group exhibitions internationally. However, since 2011 she decided to do something for herself that had a more personal character, representing her. Her latest collection, consists of Iranian tiles related to the Seljuk and Qajar periods, designed in an abstract style. By drawing and deconstructing these patterns, the artist seeks to create a space in a modern and abstract style. This approach allows them to reach a new expression of art through editing and transforming traditional designs, showcasing the contrast between classical and modern art.
